About Your Place & Mine

Your Place and Mine started as an idea between friends associated in the real estate community. After the economic housing boom went bust they saw the need to give home owners the ability to sell their homes in their own way.

The idea was to provide a way for home owners to promote the sale of their homes in a wide-reaching public forum, and that forum became the Internet.

Created as a FREE service to all who wish to use it, Your Place and Mine serves home owners with one key difference from other home listing web sites; sellers may list only one property at a time. This listing method helps the individual home owner gain a foothold in the real estate market.

Another terrific part of Your Place and Mine is the ability of home buyers create an account and keep a list of homes in their account by selecting from a list of criteria for the home they would like to buy.

Buyers can keep an ongoing list, find other homes they are interested in and add them to their list, or remove homes from their list which no longer appeal to them. Buyers will also be notified of any homes that are added to Your Place and Mine after they have set up their account and their search criteria. This way they will know about home buying opportunities they might otherwise have missed out on.
